Optus

Optus is one of Australia's leading telecommunications companies, providing a wide range of services including mobile, internet, satellite, and entertainment solutions. Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) was used as the platform to build a self-service purchase journey for the Optus core cart and checkout. In the front-end, ISML templating was used with vanilla Javascript and jQuery. Alpine.js was later introduced for lightweight interactivity.

I was a SFCC front-end lead that contributed to design and build the a telco ecommerce storefront with multi vendor solutioning. My role involved both strategic and hands-on responsibilities across multiple digital streams and projects, including: Digital Core, Home Subscriptions, Unicart, Recontracting, Outright.

As a lead, my responsibilities involved:

• Architecting and developing Solutions
• Bug fixes
• Demos and showcases to clients
• Delivery of the product pages
• Integration of Alpine.js to the tech stack
• Supporting and guiding front end team
• Digital Core front-end SME
• Upskilling Optus' Front end team
